Who We Are

Our Mission

The Shenandoah District exists to develop healthy pastors and healthy reproducing churches to impact the world with the life-changing Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We want to see people come to love God, love others, and compassionately love and serve our community.

This is what we call our discipleship model and it happens by movement between our weekly programs offered here at CCC.

Love God

We value and believe in the gathering of believers for worship. Our Sunday morning service is a great first step for new believers or those who are just checking things out. It is also a time of building up, renewal, and learning for all people.

“Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’”

Matthew 22:37-39 (NIV)

Love Others

We value building relationships with others within the church. We want you to grow in your RELATIONSHIP with jesus and the next step is joining a connect group. Here you can love and be loved by others in the church.

“Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’”

Matthew 22:37-39 (NIV)

Love and Serve our Community

We value serving. We believe that service inside and outside the church is the next step of growth in your RELATIONSHIP with Jesus. This looks like volunteering in different ministries in the church as well as serving outside of the church walls.

“Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus…”

Philippians 2:3-5 (NIV)

"For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope."
Jeremiah 29:11
